>I'm wondering if there is an offiscial (or close) version of central
>heroic and superheroic level character in existance?

Green Dragon, Anaxial's Roster p157
Crimson Bat, Moon Rites p34

According to HeroQuest p274, Harrek and JarEel's base combat ability is at least 10w4 while Gunda the Guilty and Sir Ethilrist have a base combat ability of at least 10w3. I assume this is for now and that as the Hero Wars increases they could add another Mastery or two onto those numbers.

>I've been trying to work out the Razoress myself, but I just can't find
>enough information to go on. The Superheroes from Dragonpass (boargame)
>seem to be pretty much immune to magic, but don't seem to use any magic
>themselves.

Well, inferring from game mechanics is always tricky. Harrek does get affected by a Sunspear in KoS, which shouldn't happen if he was immune to magic.

>Is Jar-Eel a demonically strong and powerful swordswoman with a lot of
>magical equipment and followers, or is she also a 10w3+ range magicuser?
>So does the razoress cut things down with ungodly skill, or does she also
>draw down crimson fire from her mother, or something like that?

She is a demigoddess [cf HeroQuest p128 - PHM] and the equivalent
of a small army all by herself when the powers rise within her. [...]
Her music can bring relief to the most aggrieved soul and energize
the crippled to dance. Her smile has healed, her touch has destroyed
         [...]
                 Glorantha: Intro p104

As well as destroying the Pharaoh and participating in the sack of Boldhome, JarEel has persuaded Beatpot Aelwrin to give up his rebellion (and seems to do something similar with Annstad of Dunstop) and is currently debating against the Keepers of the White Moon.

So you have Swordswomanship, Music and Philosophy as her primary abilities.

>I'm also wondering how cinematic a magician the Red Emperor is
>supposed to be. For some reason I don't think he's personally as
>powerful as, say Zzabur or Sheng Seleris,

Given that Zzabur's magical ability is between w8 and w12, the Red Emperor is certainly not as powerful as him. But the Emperor has wrestled twice with Sheng Seleris and so he is of the same magnitude of power.

>but rather a very
>competent magician, administrator and general with a huge amount
>of resources behind him.

First and foremost the Emperor is a God, not a very competent person. Given his current activities, he is rather incompetent these days. Secondly the Emperor owes his magical power to his Seventh Self being TakenEgi and his sight portion being Antirius.
