And that the Doburdun magic still works during the Windstop pretty much says to the Lunarized Sartari (and more importantly, those on the brink) that the properly-behaving Pelorian God is now more powerful than that wimpy barbarian one. Cunning, those Lunars, aren't they? Imagine what would happen if the Windstop had lasted a few generations or more (which was probably the plan).

Pelorian for "stick", I think. I haven't seen whether that means a club, a thick stick (like bamboo), or just a switch or swagger stick.
