I don't see why they would, and they certainly don't IMG. There's
nothing in the HQ rules that I recall saying that only devotees may take
part in theist heroquests, so why would Western questing be limited to
adepts? It's not even as if you need someone able to create a Portal of
Power to help you start your quest - a liturgist will do perfectly well,
and not all (or even most) of those are wizards! So, there doesn't,
strictly speaking, need to be a wizard involved at any stage of the
process at all.
