[Glorantha] Catching up on Krarsht and Chaos

Wow, this place exploded. Also, it seems that two posts I sent never got through.

I am going to try and not rehash too much or quote from 15 different people.

I loved Julz's bit on Krarsht and would probably steal something like that for my game if I was going to use anything. What magics such a Krarsht would actually give you is an interesting question.

On a side note, obviously Krarsht has been written up/mentioned somewhere else than CoT and LoT. Can anyone point me to where that is? (Not that I necessarily will find a way to gain access, but now I am curious.) Also, is it settled anywhere what she looks like? There seems to be a description involving tentacles and a vaguely amorphous creature, and then krarshtkids (who supposedly look like her) sound very spider-like (albeit with 6 legs).

As for the chaotic gods, it does seem that there are some difficult questions. I presume (I may be completely wrong here) that there are gods worshipped by chaotic creatures but who are not, in and of themselves, considered chaotic? I certainly seem to remember seeing Humakt listed as a god Chaotics worship in something I've read.

Concerning that list of chaotic gods, I seem to recall seeing Vivamort described as a sorcererous cult at some point, but that he is described as being a spirit of darkness (which, to me, sounds either animist or theistic in origin, although I think the Underworld may be one of those places things are not always cut and dry.)
