        Y'know, reading the subject really quickly at the top, I thought that it said 'Vingan Tyrannies', and I was wondering what Lunar-loving slander this was, not to mention what connection does Vinga have with the Cleansed Ones? Must have more caffeine!

        Yes, and I recall that we ran that ritual once.

        Being a terrible little hairsplitter here, I can see some poor Praxian sod deciding, OK, I'll turn into a vampire rather than die, then do the Cleansed One ritual. After all, I'll be going *with* the current, and lore only says that vampires can't *cross* running water, not that they can't swim...
