[Glorantha] Call for Papers: First Digestive Symposium on Contemporary Structuralist Pogonognomy and the Lunar Empire

The First Digestive Symposium on Contemporary Structuralist Pogonognomy and the Lunar Empire (hereafter First Digestive) shall be convened to debate that most central and lauded of corporeal outgrowths: the beard, both of itself and as an indicator of wider socio-cultural and magical practices. Prominent in myth, legend and culture, the beard is still relatively little understood in the wider analysis of Gloranthan myth, and its centrality to the processes of Inclusion, Illumination and other divers rites and ceremonials is cause for debate.

The First Digestive invites scholars, layabouts and foreigners of any and all expertise to contribute essays on beard-styles and habits, both in the Lunar Empire within (inclusive of the Heartlands and Provinces) and without, and summarise for academic delectation investigations into the agency of the beard in magic and myth.
