Of course, scurrilous anti-Lunar propagandisers -- retrogrades, scandal-peddlers, primitivist logophages and cat-fanciers to a man (or woman) -- render this as a "goaty" beard and suggest that it reflects the corrosive effects of exposure to Chaos, the first stage of becoming a broo. This is, of course, so much arrant nonsense. Baaaaah, humbug. I mean, bah, humbug.
