Having the moon overhead rather than above the horizon will alter the exact look of the phase, too.

It's a description of the appearance and (some of) the effects of the Glowline, but no raison d'etre.
IMO the glowline as reaching out from the Good Shore temple (and later additions) since the 3rd Wane only extends the Silver Shadow, a circular Satrapy centered upon the Crater named after a special celestial effect.
Come to think of it, I believe that the Dara Happan tripoleis have a similar effect with their "triple spheres" hanging over the central ziggurats. In their cases, probably limited to the city limits. Received on Tue 25 Apr 2006 - 09:57:59 EEST
