I agree that the semantic issue here is getting a wee bit up itself, but to be fair, most (non GL) Gloranthans will not be discussing the theistic, mystic, animist (etc...) cultures of Glorantha side by side, and thus have a need to differentiate.

I could go with either of them, though I personally have no qualms about using Soul as a generic term, and prefixing it with "Theistic" when we need to be nice about it. That's the pedantic usage of the word nice by the way, in case anyone was wondering. ;-)
