[Glorantha] The new Rune Magic

 One other aspect to this is that Runes seem to be the object of adventures, yet the magic is the most common type of magic in Glorantha. Surely the most common magic would be the easiest to obtain? Maybe Rune Magic is the equivalent to theistic affinities in HeroQuest and most folk pick up their Runes on a holy day heroquest to the other side. In that case I guess we could rationalize common and objective of quests. But this short extract implies that Runes can be picked up in this world (the broo shaman), by killing the owner, which dissaudes me from this and from too closely equating them with an affinity.
