Yet I think it may happen in my game. The Empire is marching into Sartar sooner or later (in a year if something doesn't change that), and the conflict has a chance of escalating badly. One of the independents to woo is Cragspider, who has the power to rouse the Black Dragon to fight in the war.
For this I want a perspective on dragons that I can use. I think I'll make the Black Dragon be more like the monsters in Astrid Lindgrens books

Even then, I guess one way for Cragspider and the Black Dragon to make an appearance is a single raging firestorm (Cragspider) as long range bombardment, and a small flight of dreamdragons courtesy of the Black Dragon.
