This is especially true, if we remember that the trolls will inevitably generate blooms of feral trollkin, which are apparently to "kept" enlo as enlo are to uzko - just appetites with deft hands but not the brains to use them. They could well assume that the value and warrior trollkin were the Awakened Herdmen of the Dark Ones. They might marvel at the profligacy of the trolls in Awakening so many, though.
Also, the trolls might view the herdmen as the ooman version of enlo (oomlos, perhaps?), and look on the Praxians as more "trollish" than the various Heortling and Yelmalians for keeping them (rather than eating them at birth, maybe?), and thus make it easier to get Mama's OK to deal with them, either for the AA traders or for the occasional joint raid on Pavis or DP.
