Simon Hibbs:

>True. In the case of the Abiding Book though, the definitive
>text was apparently written by the hand of god all in one go,
>so I would expect it to be pretty unambiguous compared to
>the previously extant Malkioni scriptures.
But the Loskalmi and the Ralians don't pay that much attention. Their magics might say that the Abiding Book is true but when subjected to a truth contest, their own scriptures are found to be better.
Furthermore the Abiding Book will have its own subtleties and ambiguities, the resolution of which will be only achievable when one draws closer to the Invisible God. If you want a book which states everything with blunt certainty then the Sharp Abiding Book is the text for you. But the Malkioni that followed _that_ forgot God and perished forthwith.
