I am utterly fascinated by the myth of Lesilla. The perfect city of Mernita was situated in what is today the Blue Moon Plateau in the Storm Age? Is she the Blue Moon which still falls from teh sky down Magasta's Pool, or is that the other Blue Moon? Sorry I'm often dim when it somes to mythhs, and wondered fi anyone could tell me more, or point to references. I'll go reread the wonderful Lives of Sedenya in a second

  Not sure this is relevant, but here goes,    

  I was delighted to be in a Heroquest game GM'd by Greg Stafford at Continuum. We came upon this strange blue house in and Esrolian families vineyard. Mine and Ian Coopers characters recklessly entered the blue house. Oh yes, we thought some otherwordly stuff was going on, but went for it anyway. The next we knew was that we were actually falling from the sky dome, and could see the lozenge far below!!    

  The scenario was set at the time of Harmast, in Esrolia and we were farmers all looking out for our families interests. I suspect it was something to do with the Blue Moon, but I guess only the big guy himself can reveal what he was thinking. Maybe its actually a 'Gloranthan Bombadill*', but it was a blast playing it anyhow!

• = Bombadill is a reference to Tom Bombadill from Tolkein's The Lord of the Rings. The exact nature of this incredibly powerful being has been much debated due to his many anomolous traits, and Tolkien himself would only say that there existed in Middle Earth things that could not be categorised as this or that. His suggestion is that the world is enriched by the unknowable or the unfathomable mysteries.
