But if that's all heroquests are then the cynical explanation would apply to all Gloranthan religions equaly, with only the thoroughgoing atheism of the Brithini left, except that they've dissapeared.
Either heroquesting realy is interacting with the spiritual world, and this is true for all gloranthans, or it is just ego-driven power tripping, and that is true for all gloranthans.
