This premise is, at a minimum erroneous, and probably a lie, as I doubt that anyone on this list is so ill-read that he/she/it cannot think of anything that takes the above attitude. Possibly, nothing has been published in Finnish, but I expect that Mikko is quite able to do an Amazon or Google search for English sources (he certainly can compose readable sentences in that language), ignoring a simple reading of Nietzsche.

I would also suggest that few gods actually worshiped, as opposed to used as literary fodder, have NOT seemed violent and vengeful, and those that were not were usually non-entities. With the power of a god, a minor harrumph can still wipe out villages, after all. From the POV of the God, wiping out said village might seem no more than a slap at a biting mosquito.

Piss Voria off by screwing up her ceremonies, or defiling her altars, and watch your lambs die. Vengence, coincidence, or natural law?
