And the Orlanthi have myths of how Wakboth is descended from the Unholy Trio. It doesn't make the Wakboth part of the Storm Tribe so that the Vithelans have myths about the formation of Sea Gods doesn't make them part of their Pantheon.

In the sense of antigods of the Adpara (short list on revealed mythologies p54), the only antigods that have a connection with the Transcendent are the Sheredpara. The other antigods gain their power through destruction or denial of any connection with the Transcendent.

Collaborators is my guess.

Gaining power for the troops is a motivation that sounds too modern as the Antigods seek power for themselves. Think of Sauron or Morgoth - "I did it for the troops" doesn't sound right coming from their mouths. IMO the Gorgers are spawn of Debaday and acquire any features from their parent.
