Although some might argue that its good to be able to stick at least one enemy! This probably explains why some cavalry seem to have elements of the Swiss Army Knife (Knight?) with curved swords, pointy swords, maces or axes, lances, and even bows!

(Isn't there some kind of Humakti cult that gets into a whole assortment of weapons and not just swords?).
