If nothing else, many parts of Glorantha are clearly stone age, not bronze/iron age, and never mind the Mostali! But his Glorantha may well vary, as many people's does on this particular point (or so I'm told).

Canonically, though, the Loskalmi do have some fairly sophisticated plate, and it's likely that this has been copied by their neighbours to some extent. But Loskalm is a bit of an odd-ball, and I'd personally imagine that the most knights from Seshnela, Safelster, etc. would typically be equipped with is mail-and-plate, coats-of-plate, and the like. Carmanians, Jonatelans, and the like probably make do with scale armour. Although they do have the advantage that iron is relatively cheap in the West, compared with the Dragon Pass/Lunar Empire region, so that iron armour and weapons are much more common.
