She is the Mirror, and She is the Mask. Sedenya embraces opposites. And Lunar history has previous examples of genocide: the Nights of Horror, the Moon Burn. And one could cite the Battle of the Four Arrows of Light, the creation of the Mad Sultanate and the Crimson Bat as atrocities.

Arguably, We Are All Us is not the most important tenet of the Lunar Way. My reading of ILH-2 is that the existence and liberation of the Great Self is the core tenet, and this evidently need not occur within a person's current lifetime. A Gloranthan equivalent of "Kill them all and let God sort them out".

Thirdly, we often forget that followers of the Lunar Way are a minority. The Lunar Empire contains many Dara Happans, include Alkothi psychopaths, who would happily annihilate the Orlanthi.
