Even if they'd heard of it "It's just a giant bat. It's going to try flying in our air. It's gonna get sooooo fried."
Very few people get a chance to oppose god level chaos twice, and any tale is not going to do the real thing justice. I may not have ILH2 yet, but the couple of paragraphs in "Lives of Sedenya" give a good feel for the horror.
