Yeah but....my point is that we are talking about a bunch of people that are principally used to a fairly temperate climate. Andthey have magic to offset its worst aspects. During the fimbul winter not only is it much, much worse, but they are fairly much without magic.

Right, just had a look through. It clearly states that most people are magically hidden away or 'asleep'. Much of this work is achieved by Sartar's band. Ok then.
On the genocide thing - that Tatius is a real bastard isn't he? He is one NPC I would love to see get his! Getting eaten by a dragon seems a bit of a let off to me!!
