With the omens at the attempted coronations of Salinarg it wouldn't take much to prophecy doom. Most clans, never mind tribes, will have some followers of Kev. So the question becomes why some tribes did muster? My guess is that in their case the prophecies were bad whatever choice they made so they chose to fight. I don't think failing to fight for Prince Salinarg represents a change of allegiance just fence sitting.
