Greg has said several times that the Orlanthi are a brown skinned people, not pale like the vikings. As for the Pelaskans, they are an olive/brown skinned people, although most of the skin is covered in mud and tattoos. The dwellers of Seapolis have some practices and traditions that resemble Greek and Egyptian culture, however the islanders are a much wilder group.
