Minor nitpick: the Godlearners weren't exactly active in the East Isles. They got there, but didn't quite manage to work the Vithelan mythology into the monomyth and never had an influence as the naval strength of the Mokato empire pretty much kept them out.

That said, the contact with the Godlearners must certainly have increased the East Islanders' knowledge of the western antigods.

And, as everyone knows, worshipping antigods is a temptation that can be difficult to resist, so I'm sure there are people in the East Isles today who worship western deities.
