By "Carmanian" do you mean "Fronelan"?
And we are not talking about the wasp-headed entity fought by Yanafal?

My impression is that the antics of the Lankhor Mhy (note spelling) cult result from being in Esrolia, fulfilling a role analogous to Vinga in Heortling society by advancing males into the position of advisors in a female-dominated rulership (if not entire society). The beard requirement may have been intended to exclude females by the early cultists.
The "Son of Mostal" also appears as "Son of Acos". The sorcerous connections are as weak as can be - for a deity supposed to know all there is to be known, pathetical, too. Although I wouldn't put it past the Dorastans to have experimented in this direction (same as Flintnail later did in Pavis). Received on Thu 26 Oct 2006 - 12:19:06 EEST
