I must stress of course, that /Kingdom of the Flamesword/ is not an
accepted proposal yet, and that even it is accepted, MD might require
changes to my planned outline. Perhaps there's no demand (if you, me,
and Jane are the only ones that want to read a given book, that's not
really much help to anyone). Anyway, at the moment, this is just me
thinking out loud about what I'd *like* to write, not any sort of
guarantee that anything ever will be!

I like to see a mixture of both approaches, myself. I liked ILH-2, and
HoM is kind of a cross between that and ILH-1. It does not have stats,
because its not (IMO) the place for them. But I suspect many GMs do
indeed want a more concrete grip on things, and there are other books
for which that would be suitable. They'd be less useful to some other
players (such as Graham) as a result, but you can't please everyone.
And, hopefully, they'd still have some stuff of use. If they happen,
which we don't know yet.
