Sorry about that folks. A member of this list (who has posted enough to be unmoderated) signed up his entire address book for this little bit of spam. I've put that person back on moderated status, so hopefully we won't see any more of these.
For those who might get caught out by a similar scam, if a website claims to need the password for your web e-mail client, that website is a spammer's e-mail gathering tool. Do the rest of us a favour, and don't use it!
