I think you are wrong there. That's not the flavour of the EWF history at all. They went wrong in the end, but they weren't operating under a flawed premise. I'm sure many people successfully turned into dragons, and went where ever it is that dragons go. The attempt to transform the whole world ultimately failed, but that doesn't mean that their whole spiritual and magical system would have been flawed.

And I indeed feel that Jade is rare and prescious. A jade-bead is a good mark of draconic enlightenment, or badge of rank for an important offiscial. Again, check China.

But the EWF had their nobles and their heroes. Some people could, no doubt, affoard the "ascension vessels" that could parhaps even give them the Dragonewt's immortality.
