Ok. I've always assumed that it's something like a chaos tainted relative of the dragons. Sort of like the relation between the chaos gods and regular gods.

That's what I remembered. The suff published by Mongoose has taken a different view. In their material the Ralian 'newts have their own Inhuman King. I was pretty surprised to read that, and have been wondering if Greg has changed his mind about that.

On a more general level, is the Inhuman King supposed to be the one and only ruler of the Dragonewts? That would explain the relative abundance of truedragons in the Dragon Pass area, since that is the only place where the Ihhuman King ascends to dragonhood (when killed), and a new 'newt takes the position.
