[Glorantha] On summoning angels

The problem there is that the certamus is pretty darn physical. If it's presense in the world is just a flame or a beam of light, how does it swing a deadly sword (shouldn't it be a spear?)?

Personally I'm wondering if it wouldn't need either a statue or even a solar priest to manifest in.
