[Glorantha] Gloranthan Weather simulator

Just in case someone has done this.

I wondered if there was any computer simulation of the weather/wind and current patterns described in various sources that would give a picture of the swirling Orlanth storm, the Doldrums and other effects, such as the Storm Bull Winds, possbibly in some sort of animated graphic.

I think the general principles for wind would be fairly simple - some way of generating the path and size of the Doldrums, strength of the wind is distance from the edge of the Doldrums, direction is a tangent from the circle that is the Doldrums. Clearburst is just the massive expansion of the Doldrums. Independant winds, and Vithelan effects can be added somehow. To make it look 'realistic' one might want to add clouds and fog and stuff that moves with the wind.

Currents would be less straightforward but not too much more difficult.

The next stage would be a sort of sailing simulator for budding ocean travellers. Now, that *would* be complicated.
