The first table of "Rune Identities" was in RQ1 (Page 112). It listed Color, Metal, Weapon and Phyla for all the elements. Air was White in those days.
RQ2 (page 101) left off Air entirely. Oops! Thus mistake was repaired in WF9, which gave Air the color Orange (and included the sense associated with each element). Non-Canon, as the chart was made by Mark Lukens. No explanation for why orange was chosen.
RQ3 had a Cult Identity chart in God of Glorantha - Cults Book 21. Air is back to White.
Finally, there is the table on MoLaD 66, in which Air reverts to Orange. This is the current canonical answer (as it hasn't been overturned by a new publication or Greg, yada, yada, yada).
Personally, I prefer White/Grey.
