Because of their explicitly stated complete contempt for the general audience. TR, ST, etc, are only dumbed down versions for the masses, and so staying compatible with them can be ignored. Greg refuses to have his creativity stifled by staying in line with existing data. And so on. Not to mention the creation of that list in the first place: so he wanted to use one list, for discussion of rules-free Glorantha in general: was the fact that this one isn't dedicated to his ego in some way a problem? He completely ignored its existence.
