I think we've been through this before, but, so far as I can tell, HQ says no such thing. It doesn't specifically say that you *can* enchant
iron, but it doesn't specifically say that you can't, either - it just says that 'refined' iron still dampens magic. As far as I can tell from the text, 'refined' is not the same as 'enchanted', and the effects ofthe latter are not specified anywhere. Since the old sources said that enchanted iron didn't dampen magic, I assume it still doesn't. Granted, you wouldn't know that from reading the book, but that doesn't make it a change - just an omission.
