In Glorantha Digest V2 #338, Peter Metcalfe writes some nice praise on my
Malkioni musings (for which my thanks) and then comments:

>I can appreciate the intent but I feel these concepts are somwhat
>misnamed. 'jumped-up monkey hsunchen' sounds too modern and slangy
>for a Brithini sneer whereas simply calling the normal run of humanity
>'Hsunchen' would be far more appropiate IMO.

Well, it's a translation, after all. Substitute "pretentious animal kin" if
you prefer. Alas, it's not original to me. I got it from Mike Dawson, who
(I think) got it from Stafford. Could be wrong about the latter.

>As for the Lesser Logicals 'apeing' the Brithini way, I'm uncertain
>if the Brithini had much contact with monkeys or apes for the slur

The Brithini Know Everything.
