The Knot Writing is basically "written" Praxian. It is
pretty simple, though, and largely confined to messages dealing with
war, trade, or religious celebrations. If you used it to send a
message to your pal, it would read something like "Go Horn Rock.
Take five cows. Sable enemy." Which could be interpreted to mean
"Meet me at Horn Rock. Bring the five cows I lent you last winter.
Be careful, because Sable Rider raiders have been seen in the
vicinity."
If your guy has any skill in Read Praxian, this is how he
writes it.

Since all Praxians speak the same language, taught by Waha, there
would appear to be little need for Sign Language, but I there might

be one nonetheless, used to communicate with Pent folk, Kralori,
Baboons, and other outsiders who don't speak Praxian. Or else it
could just be an error by Greg, who'd forgotten that they all speak
the same language and wanted to make them even more Amerind-like.
