The one thing I've never heard of being made of bronze is the humble horse
shoe. A real advantage to cavalry, apparently, maybe even a necessity. But
of course, hu-metal is just _translated_ as bronze, its analogue or
"earthly, mundane, equivalent[]." Thus, I think Gloranthans have bronze
horse shoes.

Might the Pelorian clans be like the ones in Tekumel? That is, somewhat
regional and somewhat job-oriented, like overgrown Indian castes but less
specialized. But really, I don't know what references Pam is referring to.
