Sandy:
>I propose we appoint a "Bringing Up To Speed" committee from
>amongst the members of the Digest.
and name it _New Order: "Bringing Up To Speed"_ to get the acronym NO
"BUTS"! as we won't accept "buts" like "but what about copyright problems?"
and "but who's going to do all this?" and so on. Suddenly i realize i used
"we" in that sentence, even though i don't have any OOP glorantha-stuff
(that i know of), except a badgered copy of the RQ2 rules and a xeroxed
GRIFFIN MOUNTAIN.
I think it's a wonderful idea. Hooray for Sandy.
Something that is really useful to introduce people to Glorantha is
SCENARIO PACKS. It explains the gloranthan milieu and can be used
right-away in play. GRIFFIN MOUNTAIN and BORDERLANDS are superb examples. I
know that lot of GMs don't use ready-made scenarios, but they usually
contain some good ideas and NPCs and, most of all, a _detailed setting_.
I think scandinavia+finland has quite a lot of glorantha-fans, and i offer
myself to be the branch office for scandinavia.
