Wishy-washy rubbish. Neither party liked the Compromise (that's why it's a
Compromise!). By the same token, you'd be saying that Orlanth and the Red
Goddess "swore eternal friendship" after Castle Blue established that she,
too, was a part of the Great Compromise.

Greg and I assumed it did while working on the Ephemeris. It makes sense
for there to be long, hot Fire Season days. And the Trolls *love* the long
nights of Dark Season. FWIW, Midsummer corresponds to Yelm's HHD in the GoG
calendar (Fire/Harmony/Fire), while Midwinter is Fire/Illusion/Dark. The
spring equinox is slap bang in the middle of Sacred Time. All seems to fit.

The trouble is, they're a lying photo-opportunity. By pretending that
Lunars all hate Chaos too, they concede moral high ground to the Storm
Bullies and other barbarian types. ("Look at us: we can be just as bone-
headed as you lot! Why not join the Lunar way?"). I feel the Coders are
morally compromised by the ambiguity of their position: as anti-Chaotics
trying to represent the Lunar Empire, but knowing they're unrepresentative.
