"Nonsense! They fell off that there Red Moon, which is why we never saw them in
previous Ages of the World. *Everyone* knows the Red Vadeli were destroyed by
Zzabur before Time began: it says so in Holy Scripture!"

I Fought We Won, the Unity Battle, Storm Bull's Fight and the Ritual of the Net
(which ended the Lightbringers Quest) all feel like different takes on the same
mythical truth (United We Stand, Divided We Fall) to me. "Logically", IFWW can't
happen *before* Orlanth & Co. save the world (which would belittle them), or
after it (because there'd be no point), so I'd assume the simultaneous
non-sequential mythic Godtime rules OK.

No, it's simply not true. The Lunars are encouraged to Travel and Journey upon
the Path of the Red Goddess: none of them are forbidden to learn what She
learned, to suffer what She suffered. Many demigods of the Lunar Sphere were
once mortals, who gained divinity through their pursuit of the secrets of the
Lunar Path. There's some published material on this in "The Entekosiad", about
to become available from the Reaching Moon Megacorp.

Those are silver-masked members of the Imperial Bodyguard on the cover of Tales
#12. The helmets are based on Roman cavalry parade helms (there's some lovely
ones which look like Amazons): we just "borrowed" them...
