In my life I have had a chance to sample a large number of animals and it is
my conclusion that herbivores taste better than carnivores, the latter
tending to be stringy and too gamey. For example, I like venison, beef,
chicken, lamb/veal, etc. but I don't care for dog or lion, both of which I
have sampled. The only true carnivore which I liked was alligator tail,
which tasted like really thick trout steaks.
Best,
Glenn
(Still waiting to try beaver tail sometime)
