In reference to Mr Nick Brooks write up of Convulsion 3D, I would like it if he
got his facts correct, the truth is as follows.
1) Dragon Pass the Freeform, was my baby. Brought violently into the world on
Saturday night. Mr Gidlow took my position as coordinator when the ale finally
hit me.
I must say that the game we played lacked coordination, but I will strive to
establish some basic guidelines, play test it, then I will take over the world.
2) Rune Metal Jacket is also now a freeform, or is tha freeforall? This great
unofficial event took place, when I could not find my players for the official
tournament. The event was a delight to behold, with Dan Barker's starring role
as Dogsh@t the rudest broo in Glorantha. Lawrence Whittaker and David Gadbois
invented the human ballista which was superb to watch, but hurt like hell when
they hit you with a burley
dutch man (sorry name aludes me).
3) Nick also neglected to mention the trollball that featured a horribly
deformed two headed cave troll, and the cutest Xiola Umbar priestess. (Does
anybody know how to remove flour and water paste from limited edition T-shirts.)
4) Will someone please tell me what the end result of HotB was. I was at the
time involved in a tragic love scene, quite an achievement for the Crimelord of
Boldhome.
5) Finally it is worth while going to these conventions just to watch Sandy
Peterson, do his HEAD-ZIT squeezing. A gamr that is now (tm) Chaosium, and will
be released on the PC just as soon as Quake has made a huge amount of money.
