        The Glorantha Con IV committee regrets ahving to announce the
cancelation of the "Eat at Geo's" event at GC IV.
        The Ramada Hotel chain does not permit anyone to bring food-
stuffs into the hotel and prepare it. This includes outside caterers.
        This is the result of of serveral ongoing law suits wherein
weddings/conventions had outside caterers bring food into hotels
and some of the guests suffering food poisoning; the hotels were dragged
into the lawsuits for 'permiting it to occur'.

        Eat at Geo's was listed in the event schedule in the recently
mailed out registration booklet; please ignore that listing.
