I just want to point out that if all the multied-missiles are shot at
half skill, they should all be going to the same location. And yes,
that could be sick in the right situation. (i.e. a Woodlord with a ton
of arrowtrance and multimissile and chameleon. Thenagain, even without
the multimissile, invaders will probably get pin-cushioned.)
Re: Regaining Runemagic on the HHD.
I really like the idea of regaining one shot runemagic on the HHD. It
One question though. Spells which are defined as "One use", would those
Ew, I just thought of something....since Humakt gets Sever Spirit
does seem kinda odd that people would sacrifice for spells they can't
use. Let's face it, how many people can get it reusably? One in a
hundred? Maybe? In my experience, people sacrifice first for stuff
they won't ever use. (Worship, Sanctify, Divination, Mindlink) Then for
stuff that would be handy if ..uh...it hit the fan. (Heal Body, Heal
Wound, etc.)
STAY one use? I.e., only Runelords can even bother learning them, and
they don't ever come back?
Reusably...does that mean that initiates can cast it once a year! Ick!
Oh, the way I've been playing HHD's, (Which, btw, we've done maybe a
year and a half Glorantha time over the last two and a half years.) is
that on the HHD, the player gets to make a luck roll. Unfortunatly, my
players luck with dice is pitiful, so nobody has even regained their
divine, much less get any goodies. (Which is actually for the best. I
like to think that I run a fairly realistic power-level game.)
