The myth of the Darkness before Time is universal: all the cults whose
gods originate before Time would spend this part of the year retelling
the tales of how they survived and what their part in the recreation
was. Even the Brithini would spend time reciting the Code of Logic at
each other so that it isn't lost.
The Red Goddess and the other cults that orginate in time would probably
go along with the ritual as something inherited from the earlier
cultures. The Lunar cults are surrounded by Solar Worshippers for whom
the return of the Sun is a very important theological fact.
