Joerg Baumgartner kindly replies and is showing some patience.......=20

Since I've just started running Sun County for my lot (I'm very rusty =
and they're Glorantha Virgins) they keep asking me questions I don't now =
the answers too, as well as the fact that I see bits and want to know =
more myself. I was going to say this looks like a good line for a =
campaign but its been done already on a certain level, doh. Is there =
perchance a write up of the Freeform?
Fortunately my research had pulled up the above and I can see how the =
political landscape lies at the moment - a semi status quo with a =
gradual move towards the wedding actually happening, speeding up when =
some members pass on. Given that Pavis was well sacked by the Nomads and =
Trolls it seems reasonable that a more fragile New Pavis would benefit =
from an Alliance with the Lunars.
The political aspect of the wedding I've got covered and I can work =
these into a Pavis campaign with no problems.
I'm interested in three things -=20
1) The Mechanics of one God being *wed* to another. The reason is simple =
- - I need to be able to adjudicate what effect, if any, players and NPCs =
have on its progress. Practical question - given that the PC's are of =
Sartarite stock they're likely to try and prevent the wedding. If the =
Pro-Lunar faction within the Pavis temple were killed off could the =
Lunars have an Arbalest wedding? Clearly in this situation the contract =
wouldn't be as favourable to Pavis.
2) I'm trying to get to grips with this whole HeroQuest thing, It would =
be nice to use the HeroQuests I believe to be going on for this Wedding =
as a backdrop. It would help to introduce rookie players to the concept =
and modus operandi of a HeroQuest for when they get the chance to do =
some themselves.
3) I want to be consistent with Glorantha at large, I need to be able to =
point players at books and say read this without having to say "oh put =
ignore this bit" or "I've changed that". I feel a bit reluctant to leap =
in any direction 'cause I don't now which is which.
Thanks in advance,
Dave.
