Stepen Martin asks
<<I have an AH catalog advertising RuneQuest Adventures in Glorantha, and
there is no art associated with it at all, nor any such picture as Mr.
Mohrfield describes. Were there two such catalogs?>>
The catalog I was refering to is dated 1996 and has twelve games on it's
cover; Stonewall in the Valley, 1830: Railroads and Robber Barons, Acquire,
Geronimo, Solitaire ASL, Wooden Ships and Iron Men, London's Burning, Global
Survival, Advanced Civilization, D-Day: America Invades, Machiavelli, and
Empire of the Rising Sun. The picture is on page seven and is in a box along
with the announcements for RunQuest-Fourth Edition and RuneQuest ADventures
in Glorantha (apparently at this point AH had decided to publish the game
rules and world background seperately). I've got two of these catalogs, one I
seem to recall came through the mail, the other came with my copy of
"Hannibal: Rome vs Carthage". So, assuming that AH includes the same catalog
in all copies of that game and that you don't mind spending $40+ dollars, you
can get a picture of this painting about twice the size of a postage stamp!
On the other hand, "Hannibal" is a great game and I wouldn't mind seeing
someone apply it's system to Glorantha. Yet another long shot...
