Jane Williams suggested that mourning period would last more than
a week or so. That is true in RW, but in many Gloranthan cultures
the physically dead is not lost, and may be contacted in dreams
and his/her spirit would still be there, to guard the house and
ease the daily life in the ways it could. So maybe the mourning
would not be needed at all times as much... and some dead ones
might have even ended up into Heaven or Orlanth's Table or whatever.
I think that the dead one might be there as long as it was truly
missed. Then, off you go, and be another nameless spirit.
