Briefly: MGF has nothing to do with exploding Ulerian were-hobbits,
and everything to do with enjoyable gaming in Glorantha. The appli-
cation of MGF to your most recent concern (i.e: whether or not the
Syphon River is salty, cunningly disguised as whether or not every
sea and ocean of Glorantha is!) is to decide what relevance its
saltiness (or otherwise) would have in your game/scenario/campaign,
and run with it that way. If you *want* a salty Syphon River, it's
salty. If you don't, it isn't. You needn't make vast changes to the
published world background, either way.
